First-round softball postponements included North Meck at Sun Valley, Hopewell at East Gaston and Hough at Porter Ridge. Second-round baseball games affected by the rain included Hopewell at Mallard Creek and SouthLake Christian vs. St. Davids (at Gaston Christian). Hopewell’s third-round home tennis match with Ardrey Kell was also postponed.
