Thom joined the program as a freshman student manager and served the last two years as student director of basketball operations.

“He knows our system inside and out, carries Davidson basketball in his heart and is one of our own,” said McKillop. “I’m very pleased he has joined our staff.”

Thom replaces Terrell Ivory, the former North Meck High and Davidson player, who accepted an assistant coaching position at Colgate in May.
