Hough High cross country runner Kevin Harrow was the top local finisher at the Wendy’s Invitational last Saturday at Charlotte’s McAlpine Greenway.
Harrow took 13th in the boys’ open race with a time of 16:42.
Nate Nash was Hopewell’s top performer, taking 31st with a time of 17:17.
Stephan Snyder led North Meck’s boys by finishing in 18:01 (67th).
Hough’s Lexi Powers was the first local female to finish, taking 54th in the girls’ open race with a time of 20:55. Jenna Parker was North Meck’s top runner (88th, 21:52), while Jessica Burroughs (98th, 22:08) led Hopewell.
