Davidson Day’s volleyball team beat Victory Christian 3-0 Tuesday to improve to 10-1. The Patriots have not played a full five-game match this year.

“The girls have just really come together and work together as a whole,” said DDS coach Catherine Fulton. “Passing and defense, we’ve been really strong.”

Jasmine Hamilton led the Patriots with seven kills and six aces Tuesday. Emmy Roberts added
six kills and Kay Funderburk five.

The team is also getting solid contributions from Jessi Harris, Jeanine Grabowski and eighth
grade setter Tori Whaley.

The Patriots were to play North Hills Christian Wednesday and will close the regular season with matches against Statesville Christian and Hickory Christian next week. Statesville Christian is the lone team to beat DDS.
