Shiley, an assistant at DDS the past two years, will replace Jessica Mitchell, who recently moved to Colorado.

“Everyone here at Davidson Day is pleased that Coach Shiley will be working with our girls’ basketball program once again,” said DDS athletic director Matt Neville. “Coach Shiley has high expectations of herself and this year’s team.”

Shiley was a guard and captain at NCAA Division II Bloomsburg University and made three NCAA Tournament appearances.

Davidson Day was 7-18 last year.

Shiley teaches English at DDS and is the senior advisor and alumni co-coordinator.
