The boys’ cross country team from Lake Norman Charter won the 13th annual Cannon Invitational last weekend in Concord.
Michael Westbay (8th, 18:04.60), Chris Hack (9th, 18:05.10) and Jordan Wallace (11th, 18:10.77) led LNC, which beat North Raleigh Christian by four points.
The LNC girls were second, led by Sarah Hardin (2nd, 21:12.16) and Stephanie Zaino (3rd, 21:16.22).
LNC also won the boys’ and girls’ junior varsity races.
