The Titans, I-Meck co-champions with Lake Norman last year, finished the year 5-19, but following a 3-0 regular season finale loss to North Meck this week, coach Rhonda Auman praised her inexperienced team, that includes just two seniors and two juniors, for continuing to play hard and play together.

“We just gotta put a complete game together,” she said.

The Titans relied heavily on senior Kaila Angello. Auman said she’s been a great leader and has set an example she’s hopeful the young players will follow.

“She’s just phenomenal,” said Auman.
