The event will feature contests including Best Puppy Dog Eyes, Most Unique Tail and more, all in a quest to find the all-American dog. Prizes will be awarded for the top three dogs in each category. The event will also have pet-related vendors, and concessions from Bruster’s Ice Cream & Nathan’s Hot Dogs.

New this year is online registration at www.corneliuspr.org. Forms can also be downloaded from the Web site or picked up in person at the PARC office at 21445 Catawba Ave. Registration is $5, which includes entry into two contests. Additional contests cost $1 each. Registration at the event costs $8. This event is supported by title sponsor North Mecklenburg
