HPD seizes 10 pounds of pot

The Huntersville Police Department made two arrests Tuesday while investigating a drug trafficking operation that stretches to California. Officers intercepted more than 10 pounds of marijuana during an investigation that resulted in the arrests of Trevor Lynne Lysne, 40, who lives at 17126-C Formby Road in Birkdale Village in Huntersville; and Jerome David Frey, 27, who lives at 279 Wiggins Road in Mooresville. The drugs were shipped from California through a national carrier.

Lysne was charged with one count of trafficking marijuana, one count of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and one count of maintaining a dwelling to distribute marijuana. Frey was charged with one count of trafficking marijuana and one count of possession of marijuana with intent to sell and deliver. Both were transported to Mecklenburg County Jail in Charlotte.
