The annual event, organized by Dave and Tracy Yochum of Cornelius, puts together children from Big Brothers Big Sisters and their “Bigs” with local boat owners and their families for a morning of boating, swimming and fishing. The purpose of the event is three-fold: to provide a fun day on the lake for kids who would otherwise not have the opportunity, raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters and to recruit new Bigs.
