Tate Lake Norman raises $1,570 for UW

Written by

The Allen Tate Company Lake Norman Office recently raised $1,570 for agencies supported by the United Way of the Central Carolina, part of $52,737 raised to benefit local United Way organizations in 15 counties in the Charlotte, Triad, Research Triangle and Upstate South Carolina regions.

“Our Realtors and employees rallied at a time when support for these critical human services agencies is so important,” says Pat Riley, president and chief operating officer of Allen Tate Company. “From car washes and cookie sales to jeans day and clever presentations at sales meetings, our folks tapped their creativity and enthusiasm to touch the lives of the less fortunate in our local communities. I am humbled by the generosity of our team.”

The United Way giving campaign is one of three giving initiatives Allen Tate Company embraces each year. In 2010, Allen Tate contributed more than $126,000 to these initiatives across the Carolinas.
