Attendees can enter to win a hot air balloon ride for two over Lake Norman. A ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 4:30, and the event will include refreshments, a moon bounce for kids and more.
The new branch, designed by Roger Layman Architecture in Davidson and built by Concorde Construction of Charlotte, has four customer service stations, a two-lane drive through, safe deposit boxes, along with a night deposit box, and drive-up ATM. The branch will offer full serviceamenities including online banking and bill pay, merchant services, cash management with direct deposit, credit cards, lines of credit, remote check depositing, commercial loans, business and residential loans, personal, business and health insurance and other financial services.
In an effort to continue with Aquesta Bank’s green initiatives, the new branch will have solar panels installed on the roof of the drive-through. All power generated from the solar panels will be directed to the local power grid. The solar panels are being installed by SunEnergy 1 of Mooresville. Also, Concorde Construction followed a rigorous waste recycling program during construction of the branch, recycling 39,570 pounds of waste, or about 85 percent of the entire construction load.
Pat Squires, a Mooresville resident, joined Aquesta in February to serve as branch manager.
