Brad Roche has been a nationally ranked loan officer for more than 17 years. As a boutique lender, he prides himself on service and making the loan process simple for his clients. He has been involved as an owner in more than 100 rental properties, as well as commercial, residential and golf course developments.
He has been married to Angela for 14 years and is a proud dad to his two sons, Bradley (12) and Jacob (11). Roche is also a host on many Charlotte news talk shows each week on CBS Radio, WBCN 1660, The Fan 610AM, WSIC 1400 and WHIP 1350.
• What three words best describe your business style?
Simple, direct and focused.
• Who are your mentors, business or otherwise, and why?
I have had a few great mentors throughout the years, including my dad, but the best lesson I learned is to do God's plan and I just need to handle the details.
• How do you balance work, personal and leisure time?
This is hard to balance, but I always remember why I work is to enjoy my family and life. I love what I do so when I have spare time, I like to work, too!
• What two stocks are you invested in currently, and why?
I have a financial planner that does the investing for me. I do what I'm good at and trust the professional.
• What advice would you give a local entrepreneurial hopeful?
Work hard, and be direct when you are dealing with people. They will thank you.
• If you had it to do over again, what professional path would you choose?
I am too short to play in the NBA!
• What about being a business owner/leader makes your PULSE race?
Getting someone into a house or a plan that we didn't think would have worked out and seeing them at closing!
