Christmas in Davidson is Davidson's largest and most popular event, with an estimated attendance of more than 20,000 people and a bevy of activities, food, and shopping that is sure to appeal to holiday revelers of all ages.
Activities at Christmas in Davidson include:
• Take a ride on the trolley, stroll down Main Street.
• Holiday shopping at one of the many unique specialty shops.
• Journey through the Holiday Village of vendors on the Village Green.
• A wide variety of entertainment on the library stage.
• Visit the Ten Thousand Villages at the Davidson College Presbyterian Church Congregation House for goods from more than 30 developing countries.
• Visit with Santa at the library.
• Sit in on story time with Mrs. Claus at the library.
• Visit the many participating Davidson businesses offering everything from reindeer food and art projects for the kids to live music and complimentary beverages.
• Visit Town Hall where children can enjoy a theater performance and 'make & take' craft projects.

• And the newest event at Christmas in Davidson, ice skating. The holiday ice skating rink will be open extended hours — 3-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1-9 p.m. Saturday.
