With less than a year to go before the Democratic National Convention descends on the greater Charlotte area, local businesses still have time to learn about the many ways they can capitalize on the visiting delegates and their dollars.
At the Oct. 28 “Focus Friday” event hosted by the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, participants can get more details on how to get involved with the DNC from Torre Jessup, the DNC’s executive director of external affairs, and Sally Ashworth, executive director of Visit Lake Norman.
Admission is free, and the discussion will run from 8 to 9:15 a.m., in the chamber’s Randy Marion Conference Room (19900 W. Catawba Ave., Second Floor, Cornelius). For more details, call the Chamber at 704-892-1922.
