To encourage donations, members receive $1 off a purchase of a protein shakes from the Carolina Woman Café for a donation of any four items, and will be entered into a drawing for more prizes. Carolina Woman of Cornelius is hosting a food drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank through Nov. 18. Carolina Woman is serving as a drop-off center for nonperishable food items. The most needed food drive items are canned meats, canned fish, canned vegetables, canned fruit, peanut butter, rice, macaroni and cheese, laundry soap, dish soap, soup, shampoo and deodorant
