No endorsements

Written by

Readers waiting with bated breath for Talkers’ political endorsements for the upcoming elections will have to wait another year. That’s because the Citizen doesn’t endorse candidates for any office, anywhere.

Some passers-by of the Citizen’s world headquarters on Gilead Road, though, may become confused if they see political signs that appear to be on its property. Because of quirky property lines, the signs are actually placed on the right-of-way adjacent to one of the candidates’ property, so it seems as though he has the right to put them there.

Talkers aren’t saying you shouldn’t vote for those whose signs appear to be (sort of) in front of the Citizen office, but they aren’t saying you should, either.
