I'm disappointed in the selection of John Woods as "Citizen of the Year" for his breathless cheerleading for the Red Line. While he's the nicest guy in the world, and we all love him personally, John was the lead architect of the MI-Connection catastrophe for Davidson's taxpayers.

Given his recent track record of profoundly poor judgment, we should be wary of John's Red Line opinions and insist on plain facts, common sense, and objectivity.
