The commercial aspects of the massive Bryton development at the southern edge of Huntersville are easy to see from N.C. 115, where Walmart is the major tenant and the two-story McDonald’s will soon be joined by Bojangles’ and a car wash, but the residential portion of the 450-acre mixed-use development, to the south of Commerce Station and its 430-foot Southwire extrusion tower landmark, is also taking shape. Apartments and duplexes — like these off Hambright Road — are rising in the interior of Bryton, where single-family home neighborhoods are also planned.
