Located on the mall’s second floor across the walkway from Banana Republic and Pottery Barn, Apple will peel open its doors Saturday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m., with the first 1,000 shoppers receiving a free T-shirt.

This will be the Charlotte area’s second Apple store, and, like the first location in SouthPark, will offer the services of its Genius Bar for hands-on diagnoses of what might be ailing your Mac, iPhone, iPad or other Apple gear.
