Real and virtual face-lift at Summit

Written by  Lori Helms

After closing down for a little holiday cleaning last weekend, the folks at Summit Coffee Co. in Davidson reopened this week with a fresh coat of paint inside and a totally revamped digital appearance in the ether.

Manager Dave Beam says the owners and crew took a few days to do some not-quite-spring cleaning, finishing up New Year's Day. But what he says his customers might notice most are the improvements to the coffee shop's Web site.

"It was rebuilt from the ground up," Beam says. "It's a whole new look."

He says that new look includes a variety of new features that are more user friendly, and that soon there will also be an online store where patrons can buy some of their favorite Summit swag such as mugs, T-shirts, hoodies and hats.

Check it all out at www.summitcoffee.com.
