Rotary Club holds Christmas fundraiser

On Thursday, Dec. 1, The Rotary Club of Davidson kicked off its first official fundraiser in conjunction with Christmas in Davidson. Several local business sponsored trees in order to help build the Christmas Village on Concord Road. For a $1 donation, residents can vote for their favorite tree.

Tree sponsors include Davidson Capital Corporation, Davidson Elementary Community Service Club, Cornerstone Financial, The Soda Shop, Char-Grill, Davidson Farmer's Market, Blue Harbor Bank, Il Bosco Ristorante & Bar, Ivester Jackson, JJ Wade Insurance Agency, Lake Norman Christian School, SwimMAC, Our Towns Habitat for Humanity ReStore- Cornelius and Mooresville, and John M. Friguglietti, Jr.,PA.

Also available for purchase from the Rotary Club of Davidson during Christmas in Davidson are fresh Frasier fir wreaths for $30.

You may also take home a piece of Christmas in Davidson by purchasing a FRESH Frasier Fir wreath from The Rotary Club of Davidson's table. The wreaths are a product of North Carolina and are on sale for $30. Quantities are limited so pick yours up today!

Proceeds raised from the event will support the Ada Jenkins Center, the Davidson Cornelius Child Development Center and Rotary's other charities.
