Tom McMahon serves as Managing Director for Sperry Van Ness/McMahon & Associates, LLC, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage company. With more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, his career transaction volume exceeds $750 million.
Prior to affiliating with Sperry Van Ness, McMahon was the owner and broker in charge of Newport Commercial, pioneering the concept of a real estate company focusing exclusively on the commercial business in the Lake Norman area.
Active in his profession, McMahon holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, is heavily involved in several local chambers of commerce and has been a board member of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, and was instrumental in starting the Lake Norman Economic Development Corp.
McMahon is also active in his community. He is involved with the March of Dimes and was named Person of the Year at the March of Dimes Lake Norman Commercial Real Estate Testimonial in 2006. He was also instrumental in starting the Brawley Youth Athletic Association Midget Football League in Mooresville, where he resides.
