‘Caring’ through hammer swinging

Written by

Earlier this week, more than 240 employees of Ingersoll Rand in Davidson participated in several community service projects as part of “7 Days of Caring,” part of the corporation’s United Way campaign.

Volunteers were involved in a variety of service capacities, including work at the Mooresville/Lake Norman Christian Mission warehouse where they helped sort donated food and clothing, as well as construction sites where Ingersoll Rand-ers worked on homes for Our Towns Habitat for Humanity.

“Ingersoll Rand is one of our top 10 workplace giving corporations for UnitedaWay of Central Carolinas,” says Jane McIntyre, executive director of United Way of Central Carolinas. “They are a tremendous community partner and their efforts are making a difference for those most in need. We value their partnership and their strong belief in giving back.”
